No news is good news?

We were supposed to receive an offer from our mortgage company (related to Recession Never Ending Blog below) and still have not. They say they have sent it.....did my crazy neighbor steal it? You only have a few days to respond, so I have to call them and tell them we did not get it YET. Our agent says this is not going to be their best offer but he also says we might not get a second offer....WHAAAA? This is making me so upset but I can put it out of my mind and think of other things like school starting. Getting together the school supplies and such is a nice ritual that offers comfort....except for the spending part.
So, I'm going to change my sheets. I love clean sheets.
