Company Leaving

Well, you saw how sad I was at Christmas when my mom and my brother left on New Year's Day. So sad! Well, last Friday my cousin and my mom came (separately) and now they are both gone. Sad sad sad. Marta and I and the girls had such fun. We went to movies, strolled the village square and delighted in the quaint shops, lunched, went to the circus, and had general rowdiness. Marta left and we were all sad. Mom was our consolation prize, but now she is gone, too. I know that we are going to Georgia next month (to see Mom and Jon) but we still miss them right now. Mom and I went on a quest for a magic dress but it did not appear. But we did get many other treasures on our quest. For instance, some squished gingerbread hearts and an awesome 6 qt dutch oven. We resisted the temptation of more garden lights---for now. Mom left this morning and the children went to bed tonight with no grammy to sleep with.....no grammy to give them cocoa in the morning. And I guess I'd better load up the automatic coffee maker. Boo hoo.
